Happy New Year

Update. Xander has been having a mild ache in the joint his Lymphomia started in. So far this is very mild and could have been caused by normal "kid" activities, but Doernbecher has been alerted. He has Chemo next Thursday on January 25th, and we will get the Dr's. input then!!!!

The arm pain is gone right now. That could be typical "kid" stuff, or the same random pain he had at the begining of this mess.

The Dr is planning on keeping an eye on the arm pain that is now gone. No one is taking it lightly, but no one is overly worried either. It is mostl likely normal "kid" stuff.

Jan. 31st,
Xander is doing great.

Jan. 26th,
Xanders apt. went well. He blood counts are good, and right now there are no issues to worry about other then what is mentioned above. He has the joy of going to the dentist on Monday since his platelet count is hight enough to allow that. The cold is all but gone at this point.

Jan. 20th
Xander still has a cough, but the random temp spikes have stopped. He is doing much better now.

Jan. 18th,
Xander seems to be feeling a bit better. He still is having random temp. climbs, but none of them high enough to bother Doernbecher. This morning he broke out in a rash. If it had kept up that might have been the deal breaker and sent him to ER, but it cleared up as well. Its just one of those days.

Jan. 17th.
Xander has come down with a nasty cold. His brother was in urgent care earlier this week for the same bug, but with Xander its a much bigger deal. His imune system just doesn't work correctly yet. He has been running a small temp. all day. Its only been 99.2, but at 100.4 he gets taken to ER. If you haven't read past health jounals then you may not realize that for Xander a fever is considered a medical emergancy unless other wise stated by the Dr. at Doernbecher. There is a very real possibility that we will be going to ER any time in the next day or two.

Jan. 13th,
Sunday was the big snow mobile trip. It was -4 degrees out there first thing in the morning, and just as beautiful a day as in the photo. Xander had a blast. The entire family went. The trip is sponsered by the bohemian snow mobile club through the Candlelighters and takes place at Center lake about 20 min. past Willamete Pass.

Jan. 5th,
Its so nice to have the same update. Xander is doing great. With no "classes" for the last three weeks is oportunities to catch viruses has been reduced. Next weekend is the anual "snow mobile day". The Bohemian snow mobile club sponcers a day of snow and fun. Everyone is pretty excited.

Jan. 1st,
Xander is doing excelent. We either didn't have blood count drops this time, or they were small and had little effect. He slept in until 10:00 this morning since some teanage siblings wanted to stay up until the new year and nobody really got sleep.
