We have added a new section to this web site. its called new scares and will keep people updated on the issues that come with a child in remision. Anything from future long term effects of is chemotherapy (yes they can show up years from now even!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to new cancer scares. Please check that page often to keep updated

Xander had his portacath removed Thursday Dec. 13th 2007. It was a amazing mile stone for us, and he is doing wonderful!!

 Xander finished his two year chemotherapy plan on August 22, 2007, and is now solidly in remision. Our worst month was March 2006, it brought us 2 transfusions,4 ER visits,  and a 4 day hospital stay, but he made it through. His previous pediatric oncologist Dr. Hsu says we should celebrate being in maintenance because it’s been a truly horrid process getting here. Xander has not tolerated chemo well physically.
